Privacy Policy for El Coqueto

El Coqueto ("El Coqueto," "the App," "we," "us," or "our") provides AI-assisted reply suggestions for dating app conversations. This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, disclosed, and protected when users access or use El Coqueto.
1. Scope
This Privacy Policy applies to information collected through El Coqueto, including information users submit directly in the App and information collected automatically when the App is used.
2. Information Collected
El Coqueto may collect the following categories of information:
User-submitted content: screenshots of conversations, screenshots of dating profiles, photos, images, message text, profile text, prompts, and other content submitted for analysis or reply generation.
Support communications: information submitted through customer support requests, email communications, or feedback forms.
Technical and usage data: device type, operating system, app version, diagnostic data, crash data, log data, approximate location inferred from IP address, and feature usage information.
Transaction data: subscription status, purchase confirmations, and other billing-related information processed through the applicable app marketplace or payment provider.
3. How Information Is Used
El Coqueto may use collected information to:
provide AI-generated reply suggestions and related app functionality;
analyze uploaded screenshots, photos, conversations, and profiles at the user’s direction;
operate, maintain, debug, secure, and improve the App;
detect fraud, abuse, misuse, or violations of applicable terms; and
respond to support requests, legal obligations, and enforcement needs.
4. Sharing With OpenAI
El Coqueto sends user-submitted screenshots, photos, messages, profile text, and prompts to OpenAI for processing in order to generate AI reply suggestions and related features. This may include screenshots of conversations, screenshots of dating profiles, image content, written text, and other content the user chooses to submit through the App.
OpenAI acts as a third-party service provider that processes submitted content on El Coqueto’s behalf so the App can analyze user inputs and generate suggested responses. OpenAI states that business data submitted through its API Platform is not used to train its models by default, and OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs may be retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring and service protection, unless a different arrangement applies.
Because uploaded screenshots and messages may contain personal information about the user or about other individuals, users should only submit content they have the right to share and that they are comfortable sending for third-party AI processing.
5. Other Disclosures
El Coqueto may disclose information to third-party vendors and service providers that support hosting, analytics, payments, infrastructure, security, customer support, and app operations, but only as reasonably necessary to provide and protect the service.
Information may also be disclosed:
to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or lawful request;
to investigate, prevent, or address suspected fraud, security issues, or unlawful activity; or
to protect the rights, safety, property, users, or operations of El Coqueto or others.
El Coqueto does not sell personal information for monetary consideration.
6. Data Retention
El Coqueto retains personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the App, maintain security, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with legal obligations, and support legitimate business operations.
Where content is processed by OpenAI through the API Platform, OpenAI states that API inputs and outputs may be securely retained for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring unless a different retention arrangement applies.
7. User Choices and Rights
Users may choose not to upload screenshots, photos, profile content, or messages, but certain features of El Coqueto will not function without that information.
Subject to applicable law, users may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by El Coqueto. Users may also request information about how their data is processed by contacting the company using the contact details below.
8. Data Security
El Coqueto uses reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, use, alteration, or disclosure. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
9. Children’s Privacy
El Coqueto is not directed to children under 13, and the App is not intended for use by children under 13. If El Coqueto becomes aware that personal information has been collected from a child under 13 without appropriate authorization, that information will be deleted as required by applicable law.
10. International Processing
Information may be processed and stored in countries other than the user’s country of residence, including where service providers or infrastructure providers operate. By using the App, users acknowledge that their information may be transferred to and processed in such jurisdictions, subject to applicable legal requirements.
11. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time to reflect changes in legal requirements, technology, vendors, or the App’s practices. The revised version becomes effective when posted at repeakmedia.com/coqueto-privacy-policy, unless a different effective date is stated.
